The Senior Broker role on the US FINEX Financial Institutions Team within Global FINEX serves as the primary liaison between insurers and clients. This person is responsible for managing major financial institutions client relationships, deploying placement expertise and helping to drive revenue growth within the assigned office. The Role Responsible for a portfolio of business with accountability for existing client retention and new business development. Will also focus on technical and analytical projects and development, including but not limited to our suite of proprietary analytics and benchmarking tools. Accountabilities: Serve in a senior role on major accounts Maintain a significant book of business Advise clients/strategize/provide expertise on complex business Place large, complex programs into the marketplace Perform policy contract reviews; negotiate competitive terms and conditions Contribute to business growth objectives (e.g., participate in RFP responses/presentations, attend proactive sales meetings, place new business opportunities) Act as a thought leader (e.g., contribute to FINEX content, attend industry conferences as a Willis Towers Watson representative) Work closely with the WTW Client Relationship Directors and Client Advocates to align account outputs to WTW strategies Serve as the teams liaison on all analytics projects/initiatives (i.e. Core Analytics Team, Strategic Risk Consulting Team, FLIA Working Group, Claims Analysis Report Tool Team, etc.) Maintain and update existing benchmarking tools and build new ones, as needed Supplement the training that we receive from the analytics teams by providing team training on all tools given how important it is that we hear it from a brokers perspective The Requirements 7+ years of experience Advanced degree (e.g. JD) or client-side experience preferred Insurance brokers P&C license required Strong technical skills in placing the FINEX lines of coverage Interest in innovation and product development Strong client and carrier relationships Strong presentation and sales skills; demonstrated interest and ability to win new business, lead RFP opportunities on behalf of FINEX Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service Strong practical knowledge of account development and appropriate tools to achieve this aim Experienced at new business sales process and track record of converting prospects to clients Skilled at building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialists Ability to represent the practice and Willis Towers Watson with integrity and credibility Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson products and services Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery Experienced knowledge of insurance markets globally in order to deal effectively with client and Willis Towers Watson needs Any unsolicited resumes/candidate profiles submitted through our web site or to personal e-mail accounts of employees of Willis Towers Watson are considered property of Willis Towers Watson and are not subject to payment of agency fees.
