The Osborne Association hopes to find our next superstar to lead our Children, Youth, & Family Services department. This is an excellent opportunity for program design & development. The Vice President of CYFS will lead and support the organization's services to justice involved youth, children of incarcerated parents, and incarcerated and returning parents. These services include video visiting for incarcerated people with their children and families, youth development, transformative mentoring, and parenting education. The services are provided in multiple community sites and in NYS prisons. As the Vice President of Children, Youth, & Family Services, you will not only work in the best organization in criminal justice reform, but you will also lead a phenomenal team.


Education: Masters degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Human Services, or the equivalent. Licensed Master or Clinical Social Work (LMSW, LCSW) preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in the hiring process.

Experience: Five to seven years of professional experience in a social service agency or association; three to five years of management experience.

Related Skills and Knowledge: Experience reading contracts and managing budgets. The ideal candidate will have experience in youth development, parenting, fatherhood and/or families. Demonstrated success in planning and implementing program activities within budgetary and time constraints. Demonstrated success in staff development. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information to a wide variety of audiences. Must be familiar with and remain informed about the criminal justice system, corrections and the impact of mass incarceration on youth and families. Computer skills are necessary, including familiarity with MS Word and Excel. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
