SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, Office of the Vice President for Finance-Treasury and Planning, to provide in-depth analytical and operational support for the administration of the Institute's debt portfolio and management of its working capital assets and for capital project planning and risk management. Will solve unique, and often singular, in-depth analytical issues for internal/external clients of the Institute where the highest levels of skill and understanding are required. Responsibilities include capital project and debt management, financial planning, cash management, internal relationship management and communication, and other duties as assigned. The work will involve partnering with VPF Budget and Financial Analysis and Controllership units, MIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCo), Campus Planning, Campus Construction, and other units involved in long-term development of MIT and its surrounding environment. Treasury and Planning provides overall financial support to MIT's operations, including assisting with the development of the Institute's financial strategy, supporting capital and other strategic initiatives, and leading the management of the Institute's financial structure. Job Requirements REQUIRED: an MBA; at least seven years' experience in treasury- or capital-related management and analysis and at least three in liquidity management and/or banking; excellent analytical, investigative, and written and oral communication skills; ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and other individuals; strong teamwork orientation, including awareness of deliverables and deadlines and willingness to cooperate in the fulfillment of joint objectives; and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Certification as a treasury professional (CTP); experience with MIT's financial systems and processes; experience with data reporting and analysis software; and experience with SAP, Brio Query or Cognos, SQL, and Access preferred.
