Achieve your ambitionsjoin us at JLL!Job SummaryWe are looking for a Facility Manager with strong 3rd party vendor management experience including managing 3rd party spend, safety, and training. This is a walk-the-site position with oversight of hard and soft service contractors conducting work day to day in a 125k sq ft facility in Cambridge.The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the Regional Manager and the Corporate Real Estate team with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role will coordinate and manage tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure satisfaction.Job ResponsibilitiesRelationship ManagementSupport the Area Manager in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client projectDevelop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Facility Management Lead and the client.Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.Oversee the development and management of the capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client representativeProgram Analysis and DevelopmentDevelop and implement innovative programs, processes and producers procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Facility Management Lead and the client.Support the Area Manager in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client projectDevelop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets for each property on a timely basisAssist with the development and implement the annual management plan for the buildings within the areaVendor ManagementClosely monitors work requests communicated by JLL, the client and vendors.Continuously raise the bar in vendor quality and service while reducing overall costs.Hold vendors accountable for delivering high quality service per contract scope of work.Partners with vendors to continuously improveservice quality and resolve/troubleshoot service issues.QualityConsistently delivers high quality, creative, and cost-effective solutions that benefits the client.Conducts planned inspections of the sites to check the level of service provided by the service providers. These inspections should serve as an assurance of quality on the perception of service as indicated by the surveys received from the users and the contractor.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesBachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasisMinimum of 5-8 years industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultantStrong organizational and managementStrong interpersonal and supervisory skillsStrong presentation skillsKnowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems helpfulExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in MS Office, and MS Share PointComputer proficiency in CMMS Supervisory Responsibilities:Matrix manage both technical and administrative staffOversee multiple facilities of different functionsSupervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessaryWhat you can expect from usWere an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
