Position Title:Managing Director of Business Credit
Business Unit:Commercial Banking
Reports To:President of Pittsburgh Region

Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for the tactical execution of business development, portfolio management and cross functional collaboration of the Business Credit Group. The incumbent establishes asset-based lending relationships with middle market and large corporate clients across the Bank footprint. The incumbent assures this division provides a solid foundation for the Bank's overall business mission.

Primary Responsibilities:
Attracts, retains and develops the Business Credit Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers and administrative support personnel to maintain and grow the loan portfolio, develops and enhances customer relationships and ensures proper controls are in place and followed to address the inherent risk in the portfolio.
Leads and manages the Business Credit Group to grow and maintain a quality loan portfolio. Coordinates customer service and sales efforts to attain specific goals and objectives. Maintains Group compliance with various operating policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Assures the adherence to all collateral financial reporting that is critical to loan analysis. Assures all bankers are following the specific criteria established for asset-based loans.
Works with Commercial Banking peers to cross identify prospective clients.
Achieves profitability goals and impacts profitability through extension of credit, expansion of loan fees and management of related expenses.
Allocates Group resources toward tasks required to achieve goals and objectives and improve efficiency and productivity.
Coordinates the preparation of appropriate sales and portfolio reports as required.
Supports lending activities by approving or rejecting loans within lending authority and properly structuring credit facilities to reduce risk to the bank with special attention to controls on collateral involving inventories and receivables.
Assists in the development of the annual budget and adheres to budget parameters.
Actively participates in actions designed to monitor collateral margins and cash flow requirements and to support credit quality and the bank's credit culture.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
