The opportunity

We are seekinghighly intelligent and motivated people for our Transaction Diligence (TD)service line. Transaction Diligence provides business, financial andaccounting due diligence services in connection with mergers and acquisitions,divestitures, carve-outs and other transactions. As a member of the team,youll help to provide strategic counsel to corporate and private equityleaders. Youll have direct access to strategists and decision makers, managingdirectors, chief financial officers and corporate development officers.

What to expect

In this role, youwill acquire some of the most in demand skills across transactions,accounting, finance, and analytics in the marketplace today, learning fromtalented colleagues on challenging assignments. You will have a blend ofexperiences, as well as new analytics-driven solutions which enhance our clientsdecision making including buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence.Youll be analysing large and complex datasets and building sophisticatedtransaction driven analysis to help address our clients challenges infast-changing markets. Youll be expected to present your findings in a way thatseasily understood by transaction professionals at all levels. No twoclients are the same, and since youll be involved across multiple project,youll find your work varies from day to day. Whichever industry or projectyoure working on, well support you in using your accounting, finance andanalytics skills to their full potential.

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business, Data Analytics with a proven interest combined with either significant coursework or prior professional experience with data analytics
  • A desire and ability to travel while working in the fast-paced Transaction Diligence mergers and acquisition-oriented environment, leveraging accounting knowledge and skills.
  • A proactive nature with ability to multi-task
  • Interest in working independently as well as part of a team including strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong financial, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills,
  • A strong work initiative, high energy level, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
  • PC proficiency including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
