Responsible for developing, maintaining, refining, communicating, and managing execution of disease area strategies.ii. Responsible for driving pipeline growth through the proactive management of internal development programs as well as external collaborations & partnershipsPortfolio Prioritizationi. Responsible for leading portfolio prioritization of projects, providing the appropriate data and recommendations to facilitate trade off decisions between projectsii. Responsible for efficient and nimble implementation of prioritization decisions across the pipelineResource Managementi. Responsible for tracking internal and external resource allocation across the pipeline, ensuring that it is aligned with the strategic and pipeline prioritiesii. Responsible for departmental operations via liaison with business functions, including Business Operations and Finance teams.Leadership & Communicationi. Responsible for management of collaborations/partnerships that impact the pipeline in partnership with the Alliance Management Groupii. Manage departmental meeting forums to establish strategy, develop priorities, and manage resources across the portfolioiii. Ensure accurate and timely inputs into the monthly reports as well as quarterly and annual portfolio reviews.QualificationsExtensive (minimum 5 years) experience in Biotech and/or Pharmaceutical industryExperience (minimum 2 years) in program managementExperience (minimum 2 years) in strategy developmentAbility to lead within matrix and influence without authority through formal channels and informal networkAbility to work with agility, taking multi-faceted approaches to transfer knowledge and know-how, and form teams for follow-throughFinancial acumen, with an ability to evaluate budgets accounting, business case developmentEntrepreneurial behavior, capable to create/optimize opportunities and resourcesOutstanding collaboration, communication and people skillsExcellent organizational and leadership abilitiesEducationPh.D. or Equivalent + 5 years of Industry experience. Non-Ph.D. + 10 years of Industry experience.
