What's in it for you? Acceleron is searching for a creative, resourceful, and collaborative team member for a Director of Investor Relations. Reporting into the Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, and working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing Acceleron's investor relations plan, including the daily management of external relationships with current shareholders, prospective shareholders, and research analysts covering the company. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management in support of communicating the company's strategic objectives to shareholders and analysts. What will you be doing? Understand the Company's strategy and objectives to develop and drive the execution of a strategic investor relations plan Plan an active investor relations calendar of investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and other investor and analyst events Strategically partner with senior leadership and functional heads, such as the Executive Leadership Team, Clinical Development, Research, Legal, Corporate Communications, and others to assist with specific IR activities and communications Work closely with corporate communications in developing press releases, public statements, key messages and Q&As for company announcements Manage quarterly earnings public disclosures Plan and support proactive investor and research analyst targeting and relationships Develop presentation materials in collaboration with senior leadership in preparation of conferences, events, road shows, earnings and other presentations Ensure executive team is up-to-date on investor and analyst perceptions of the company; recommend and implement any necessary course corrections in messaging or relationship management Support external communications plans and deliverables with rest of communications team What are we looking for? Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degreerequired. Advanced degreepreferred Over 8years ofexperience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with a focus oninvestorrelations Experience working in-house or within an IR agency Exceptional oral and written communications and presentation skills (strong skills in PowerPoint) Strong understanding of general science, medicine, drug development, and financial modeling A proactive, strategic approach to investor relations and communications Established relationships with healthcare investors and research analysts Successful track record of interfacing with the investment community A professional, outgoing personality with a high level of energy, a strong work ethic, resourcefulness and flexibility Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, team player and self-starter; commitment to excellence Strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail and diligence in deadline driven environment Demonstrates initiative Comfortable being both an individual contributor and team player A person with an insatiable appetite to learn more and be a part of a dynamic team within a successful, rapidly growing companySalary Range: NAMinimum Qualification8 - 10 years
